Election as IPSA RC26 Vicechair periode 2023-2025

On 17 July 2023, I have been elected Vicechair of IPSA RC26 on human rights for the periode 2023-2025. In the Business meeting I have given the report as Chair for the periode 2021-2023. I am satisfied with the high degree of consensus in all decisions. 


 I wish the new chair Jedrzej Skrzypczak good luck and success and I offer him my full collaboration. 

I would like to thank to Monique Falcao, Jeff Davis, Annie Miller, Bruno Comparato for their contribution as former members of the Board. Special thanks to Alexander Sungurov for his support all this time.

On 16 July 2023, I presented a paper titled “How Can False Information Impact Democracy?” in the workshop “Political Speech, Human Rights and Technology” in the Buenos Aires World Congress of the International Political Science Association.

Chair of IPSA Research Committee 26 on human rights

I have been elected Chair of the Research Committee 26 on human rights of the International Political Science Association. Jedrzej Skrzypczak has been elected as Chair-elect and Tatiana L. Barandova as Secretary. The new members of the Board are Annie Miller, Bruno Konder Comparato, Jeffrey Davis and Monique Falcao.  Thank you for the support. A new illuminating time begins!
